Saw Pedro Almodovar’s new film The Skin I Live In tonight.
It’s absolutely ingenious. A chilling and haunting film that really can’t be described in words. It’s an absolutely perfect thriller, everything is incredible; from the gorgeous cinematography to the absolutely unbelievable storytelling to the amazing performances. It beat out Melancholia and Drive and is currently my 2nd favorite film of the year right behind The Tree of Life.
Its disturbing, grotesque, but just magnificent and must be seen.
I highly recommend it.
